Flaking is when you fail to pay for the skin, you just made an offer to. It also means, not sending sold skins within the given 18 hours. 
If you flake, your user will experience restrictions of use moving forward.

What is flaking?

Yes and no. Yes, you can list you item in several platforms at once. No, we do not recommend you doing this.
As a seller you are sole responsible for having the skin in you inventory when you sell it. If you are not able to trade the skin when selling it, you will get suspended from using Zipit.

Can I list my skin in more platforms at once?

The buyer has 18 hours to accept the trade. So during these 18 hours, there is nothing you can do. 
If the buyer does not accept the trade after 18 hours has passed, the trade will be cancelled.

I have sent the item to the buyer - now what?

We will automatically temporarily suspend your account if:
- You fail to make payment
- If you fail to make a trade offer
- If you fail to accept a trade offer

Each time you get a temporary suspension, you also get a strike. This means that each strike increases the suspension period.
1st strike: 2 hours suspension.
2nd strike: 4 hours suspension.
3rd strike: 6 hours suspension.
4th strike: 8 hours suspension.
Once you get a 5th strike, your account will be permantly banned.

Do I need to add any information when bidding in an auction?

Yes. All bids made in auctions are bindig. This means that if your bid wins the auction, you have to pay. If you fail to pay, your user will experience restrictions of use moving forward. 
´This is to ensure fair game for all users. This way, no other users can spam-bid any auctions, drive up the price and then flake.

Are bids binding?

No. This is against our guidelines. If we find that you use any automation, we will suspend your account.

Can I automate my participation in auctions?

KYC, or know-your-customer, is the process of a business identifying and verifying the identity of its clients. This is required by payment industry regulations. To perform KYC checks; Zipit, and our payment provider, requires the account holder to provide information to ensure you are who you claim to be.

What countries do you support for KYC?

If everything is submitted correctly - and does not require manual screening - it usually takes around an hour to approve the KYC. If, by any reason, your application requires manual screening, it will prolong the approval proces.
Should you experience that the application takes a considerable amount of time; please reach out to our Support.

How long does it take to KYC?

We have sent you an email with the conclusion to your KYC application. If your application was declined, the reason can be read in the email. If you disagree with the conclusion, please contact our Support.

My KYC application Failed - why?

All you have to do, is to go to you Settings page. In here, we have provided you a link to where you can finde your Steam Trade URL. This you must insert and apply. Then your inventory is visible, and you can start adding skins to the marketplace.

How can I see my Steam inventory?

All you have to do is to connect with the Zipit Support crew. Either via email or directly on Discord. They will make sure all required actions will be taken to delete our profile.

How do I delete my user on Zipit?

It is very easy to connect with Zipit.gg. You simply just need a Steam user. When you login to the Zipit platform with Steam, you are in. If you wish to participate in trading skins, you have to go to your Settings page and complete the KYC.

How do I create a profile on Zipit?

The short answer to this is no.
The bit longer answer is - well, also no. In order for us to provide all users with the same level of security and to actively fight scammers, we cannot accept that you use any other tradelink than your own. If you do so, this will result in suspension from using the Zipit platform.

Can I login with my Steam usr, but use another user's tradelink?

No. Again, we want to be able to provide our users with a high level of security, and want to ensure that no users are having bad experiences due to others having more than one account. If we find, that you are using Zipit with more than one Steam account, we will suspend them all.

I have more than 1 Steam account, can I use them all?

Yes. If you wish to start purchasing skins, you have to provide your API key. This is due to a few factors. One of them being, that we cannot get the correct information about your inventory without getting the API key. Furthermore, we need the API key in order to secure all trades. And do not worry, the key is safe with us. We will not share this with anyone.

Do I need to add my API key?

18 years of age. This age check is a part of our KYC, and you cannot start trading without completing the KYC. If we suspect that you are under the age of 18, we will suspend your account.

How old do I have to be to start trading skins on Zipit?

Unfortunately you failed to comply with our community guidelines. This was done more than once - and this time, it resulted in a permanent ban from using Zipit. 
This means that all ongoing trades, you were a part of, has been cancelled. You are not able to deposit anymore funds to your wallet - you are only able to withdraw 100 % of the account balance. 

If you believe this was a mistake. Please reach out to our support. It is you responsibility to provide the nessecary proof as to why we should rewoke your ban.

My account has been permantly banned, why and now what?

No. You will not be able to create a new account, as you Steam ID is the one that got the ban. If you try to create a new account with the same Steam ID, this will result in an immediate ban.

My previous account was banned, can I just create a new one?

We will automatically temporarily suspend your account if you failed to follow our community guidelines. 
During the suspension period, you are restricted from making any new purchases or sales. But you can complete all other ongoing trades you are a part of. You are not able to deposit any funds to your wallet, and withdrawals are limited to 100 % of the account balance. 
You suspension will automaticlly be lifted once the suspension period expires. 
If you believe this was a mistake, please contact our support. It is your responsibility to provide the nessecary proof as to why we should rewoke your suspension.

My account was temporary suspended, why and now what?

Unfortunately the seller failed to comply with our guidelines related to your ongoing trade. This resulted in the seller getting suspended and that the trade was cancelled. We apologize this affects you this way. But we are actively working on ensuring that you can trade in a safe and secure matter on the Zipit platform.

The seller in my ongoing trade was suspended, so now the trade is cancelled. What happens now?

Unfortunately the buyer failed to comply with our guidelines related to your ongoing trade. This resulted in the buyer getting suspended and that the trade was cancelled. We apologize this affects you this way. But we are actively working on ensuring that you can trade in a safe and secure matter on the Zipit platform. Your skin will be transferred back to your inventory.

The buyer in my ongoing trade was suspended, so now the trade is cancelled. What happens now?

If you've accepted the sale and haven't created a trade offer on time to the buyer, you'll be automatically fined and the buyer refunded.

Do not send a trade offer if you have received an email and/or SMS saying that the sale is getting cancelled. We do not make any guarantees of funds if an item is sent after receiving a failed delivery notification.

What If I Fail to Deliver the Item in Time?

If you've accepted the sale and haven't accept a trade offer on time to the seller, you'll be automatically fined and the seller get skin refunded and your money will be created to the wallet after deduction.
